Exhibit Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Exhibit mobile app collects, why we collect it, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.

Effective date: 15 August 2026 Last updated: 15 August 2026 Applies to: Exhibit: React Native Examples for Android & iOS

01Who we are

Exhibit (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile application that provides a collection of developer and device utility tools. This policy covers the app on Android and iOS. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.

02Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to function. The categories below reflect the features and integrations currently in the app.

CategoryExamplesWhy
Account & identity Name, email address, and a unique account identifier when you sign in with Google, Apple, or email To create and secure your account and sign you in
Purchase records Product purchased, purchase token, and entitlement/feature-access status To unlock and restore features you buy
Device & technical Device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and a device identifier Compatibility, troubleshooting, and fraud prevention
Usage & analytics App and screen views, which features you open, sign-in method, session and engagement events, and a Firebase installation identifier, associated with your account identifier. Approximate location (country / region / city) is derived by the analytics service from your IP address To understand how the app is used, measure reliability, and improve features
Push notifications A device messaging (FCM) registration token for each device you sign in on To deliver notifications you opt into
Location Approximate or precise location, only while you use map-based features To display maps and location-aware tools
Content you choose to use Calendar entries, clipboard contents, camera input, or NFC tags — only when you invoke a tool that uses them To perform the specific action you requested
Network status Connection type and connectivity state To adapt behavior when offline
Feature-gated data. Many items above are accessed only at the moment you use the relevant tool (for example, reading the clipboard when you tap “paste”, or scanning an NFC tag). The app does not continuously collect this data in the background.
Analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used. Analytics events are keyed to your opaque account identifier — never your name, email, or phone number — and are not used to build advertising profiles or shared with advertisers. Much of this data (device type, OS and app version, approximate location, session and engagement metrics) is collected automatically by the analytics SDK.

03Device permissions

The app requests these permissions. Where the platform allows, you may grant or deny each one, and the app will function without those specific features if you decline.

04How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising.

05Sharing & third parties

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, and only as needed for the purposes above. These include:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the app.

06Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). Payment is handled entirely by the store; we receive confirmation of the purchase and the entitlement it grants, not your payment-card number. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by the store’s policies.

07Data retention

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When you delete your account, we permanently delete your associated data. Specifically, deletion removes your backend profile (name, email, phone, and account identifier), your membership and purchase/feature-access records, your saved device notification tokens, and your Firebase authentication identity. Analytics records keyed to your account identifier are retained only in aggregated or de-identified form as governed by the analytics provider’s retention settings, and are no longer tied to your account. We may retain a minimal record where retention is legally required (for example, tax or fraud-prevention obligations).

You can delete your account and data from inside the app (Profile → Delete account) or by using our data-deletion request page.

08Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

09Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted connections (TLS) and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to address vulnerabilities promptly.

10Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
